Symbol conventions

Fusion platform provides access to global symbols. In order to access these symbols, we used the following symbology guidelines:

Global Cryptocurrencies

Symbol Format:

We calculate average prices for all major cryptocurrencies, which we called 'USD reference cryptocurrencies'. To access them, use the following format;

<quote_symbol><base_symbol>

BTCUSD - Bitcoin traded in USD ETHUSD - Ethereum traded in USD

For cryptocurrencies traded in an exchange ;

<quote_symbol><base_symbol>.<exchange_code>

BTCUSD.bitstamp - Bitcoin traded in USD in Bitstamp exchange ETHUSD.kraken - Ethereum traded in USD in Kraken exchange

Global Currencies

Symbol Format:

<currency_symbol><currency_symbol>

USDEUR - US Dollar / Euro JPYUSD - Japanese Yen / Euro

Global Commodities

Symbol Format:

$<symbol>

$CL - Crude oil $GC - Gold
