# Total Returns (Yearly)

#### <mark style="color:orange;">Description</mark>

Total return Yearly is the measure of the overall performance of an investment over a year, taking into account both the change in the investment's value and any income received from it. Total return includes any change in the crypto's price as well as any income received from staking or other income-generating activities.

To calculate the total return of a crypto:

1. The initial investment amount
2. The final value of the investment after a period of time
3. Income gained from the investment during time period

Total return is an important measure of an investment's performance used to evaluate the potential risk and reward of different investments.
